UPCOMING SCHEDULE
February features an early home meeting with Dominican before a three-game road trip to the Aloha State for battles with Hawai'i Hilo, Hawai'i Pacific and BYU-Hawaii. A home game against Azusa Pacific follows on the 18th before the Sunbirds head to San Rafael for the final season matchup with Dominican on the 23rd.

Senior Day for the Sunbirds comes on Feb. 25 against Notre Dame de Namur, with the PacWest Conference Tournament beginning on March 1 in Irvine. To view the schedule in its entirety and results from this season, please click here.

ABOUT THE SUNBIRDS (4-14, 1-9 PacWest)
The Sunbirds fell 71-59 to Notre Dame de Namur on the road on Friday evening in their only contest of the week. Megan Lee recorded a season-high 24 points, and Bree Alvarez followed with 17 points of her own, marking her 13th game in double-figures this year. Alvarez' 15.7 points per game currently are tops on the FPU team and also ranks fifth individually in the PacWest Conference. Cassie Pisik is second on the team in scoring average (10.1 PPG) while claiming the top spot on the squad with 5.0 rebounds per night.

ABOUT THE LANCERS (19-2, 10-0 PacWest)
California Baptist has been on cruise control for most of the season, rattling off 16 straight wins while remaining the lone PacWest Conference team with a loss in league play. The defending league champions currently rank 10th in the most recent edition of the WBCA Coaches' Poll, tying their highest mark of the year to date. Cassidy Mihalko leads the team with 21.3 points per game, less than half a point behind Dominican's Sandra Ikeora for the conference lead in that category. Mihalko was named the USBWA Player of the Week last week and has been named the PacWest Player of the Week four times this season.

SERIES HISTORY: FPU VS. CALIFORNIA BAPTIST
The Sunbirds claim a 44-26 record in the all-time series against CBU, though the Lancers have taken each of the last four meetings. Earlier this season in Riverside, Mihalko lead all scorers with 24 points, while Alvarez and Pisik teamed up to give FPU 26 points, three assists, and seven rebounds.

ABOUT THE URBAN KNIGHTS (11-7, 7-3 PacWest)
Art U is coming off a PacWest 79-69 loss to Dominican on Thursday, marking the team's first home defeat in league play. Rodericka Ware has been the primary source of Urban Knight offense so far, averaging 18.8 points per contest. Teammate Helena Orts has nearly averaged a double-double this season, tallying 14.1 points and a team-high 8.8 rebounds per game.

SERIES HISTORY: FPU VS. ACADEMY OF ART
The Sunbirds have never defeated the Urban Knights through six all-time meetings. The most recent matchup saw Art U come away with a 73-56 win in Fresno on Dec. 1 behind Ware's 22 points.

ABOUT THE HAWKS (1-16, 1-10 PacWest)
Holy Names will look to put an end to its recent skid after losing nine straight dating back to Dec. 3. Jeana Magana has been the team's biggest scoring threat this season, putting up 9.4 points per game. Tatiana Howard has hauled in 9.2 rebounds per night so far, ranking fourth individually in the PacWest Conference. Despite averaging a league-low 56.9 points per game as a team, the Hawks' are holding teams to 65.1 points per game, the third-best mark in the conference.

SERIES HISTORY: FPU VS. HOLY NAMES
The Sunbirds and Hawks have met 25 times in the all-time series, with FPU claiming an 18-7 advantage. After Holy Names won both meetings last season, Fresno Pacific will look to do the same this season after Abrina Salas' career night helped FPU claim a 59-53 victory at the Special Events Center on Jan. 5.

HEAD COACH TIM BEAUREGARD
In his first year as the head coach of the Sunbirds, Beauregard returned to FPU after previously serving as an assistant from 2006-10. During a head coaching transition following his final season as the lead assistant at FPU, Beauregard oversaw the program for a brief period, landing top recruit Jenay Herring who went on to become FPU's second all-time leading scorer.

Following his time at FPU, Beauregard was hired as the lead assistant at Azusa Pacific University where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, including scheduling, recruiting, scouting and practice planning. The Cougars went on to win the 2011 NAIA National Championship after finishing as the national runner-up in 2010.

Beauregard is well connected in the women's basketball world and has served as camp director for nationally-recognized NBC Camps since 2005. He has run over 50 overnight camps and clinics ranging from Canada to Colorado to Southern California, and several spots in between. While at NBC Camps, Beauregard combined and emphasized basketball training with psychological and spiritual training to develop integrity and confidence in his student-athletes.
