The Flames got to the line 36 times but were unable to capitalize, making just 42%. Jonalynn Fuertes led all scorers with 15 points for BUC. Rosa Ortiz added 10 points and 13 rebounds.
FPU opens PacWest play this Saturday in the Bay Area as they take on Dominican.
