The Sunbirds were unable to avenge an early season loss falling to No. 14 Academy of Art 5-4 in the season finale between the two teams.

No. 13 Petra Jurova was once again FPU's (9-12) top performer teaming up with partner Angelika Sobiecka in doubles for an 8-4 win over the seventh-ranked duo in the West Region Nina Gajdosikova and Daniela Amelunge before going on to sweep her singles match over No. 50 Gajdosikova 6-2, 6-1. Alison Carre pulled out a straight-set win 6-2, 6-3 over Lucia Zavarcikova at No. 2 singles for the Sunbirds. Laure-Anne Josso jumped out to a one-set lead at No. 3 singles before falling in the second to Michelle Dandik. Josso trailed early in the third set before rallying and taking the match 6-4, 1-6, 6-4. 

Fresno Pacific will hit the road to face No. 20 Cal State LA tomorrow in Los Angeles. The Sunbirds will then return home to face Dominican in their season finale.
