Fresno, Calif. - No. 2 Fresno Pacific bested GSAC rival, 13th-ranked Concordia 7-2 at the Haak Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.
Fresno Pacific remains unbeaten at 4-0 (3-0 GSAC), while Concordia falls to 2-1 (1-1 GSAC).
Katia Sabate's 7-5, 7-5 victory at No. 1 singles over the Eagles' Jennifer Sher put the Sunbirds ahead 4-2 heading into doubles competition.
Sabate and Vanessa Heroux won 8-1 at No. 2 doubles to secure Fresno Pacific's 39th consecutive GSAC win.
The Sunbird women's tennis team faces NCAA Division I opponent, UC Santa Barbara (4-2) on Wednesday, February 25th at 1:30pm.
