Statement of Purpose
* To honor selected PC/FPC/FPU student-athletes, coaches, athletic-related faculty and staff
* To pay tribute to the outstanding achievements of FPU Athletics
* To honor special service to the Viking/Sunbird athletic program
* To enhance Fresno Pacific University and FPU Athletics

Categories
* Student-Athlete: those who have been members of a sport sponsored by PC/FPC/FPU and demonstrated an elite level of athletic success while positively representing everything FPU stands for, both during their playing career and as alumni.
* Coach: those who have coached at PC/FPC/FPU and have distinguished themselves in the coaching profession
* Excellence in Service: individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Fresno Pacific Athletics or any sport sponsored by PC/FPC/FPU

Legacy Award
The Legacy Award was established in 2014 to recognize individuals who have made significant lifetime contributions (service, financial or another form of support) to the success and legacy of Fresno Pacific Athletics. This may include fans, boosters or an organization that has provided distinguished support. Legacy Award winners will be recognized at the Hall of Fame Banquet and are included in a permanent display alongside the Hall of Fame. The Legacy Award is a special award that may not necessarily be given annually.
