POMONA, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific women's soccer team captured their first goal of the season against reigning NCAA Division II national champions, Cal Poly Pomona. The goal was scored by freshman
Abby Cano Ledezma in the second half of the match.
"Beyond proud of the effort the group put forth tonight against the defending national champions. We hung in there for 60 minutes with a tough team and had great moments," said head coach
Roberto Hernandez. "It's not the result we wanted but there are many good takeaways to build on. It's a process and we are excited about the future!"
