ROCKLIN, Calif.- The Fresno Pacific Sunbirds collected their first win of the season on Wednesday as they swept the Jessup Warriors 4-0 at the Wolverine Tennis Complex. 

To begin the match, the 'Birds collected wins on courts one and two doubles to secure a 1-0 lead.  Halle Faherty and Margarita Munoz registered their second win of the season as it grabbed the first win of the match at court two.Yume Ueoku and Daimy Paula followed with a dominant 6-1 win to clinch the doubles point. 

The Sunbirds kept its strong play up as the match carried into singles beginning with Faherty winning in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2. Munoz followed closely behind with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at court three to pull the 'Birds within a point of clinching the match.

Malia Mitchell provided the decisive victory, on court five. After taking the first set, Fischer battled through a tiebreaker (7-5) in the second set to solidify the match (6-4, 7-6) for the Sunbirds.
