Sunbirds Score a Pair in Draw with Warriors

TURLOCK, Calif. - The Fresno Paicfic Sunbirds earned their fourth consecutive draw Wednesday night against Stanislaus State Warriors in Warrior Stadium. 

The Sunbirds had a strong first half, scoring two early goals. Chris Macias opened the scoring at the 15th minute mark, assisted by Lucas Ribeiro. Just three minutes later, Ribeiro scored himself, with Brandon Lopez providing the assist, giving the 'Birds a 2-0 lead going into halftime.

However, Stanislaus State mounted a comeback in the second half, scoring in the 75th and 85th minute to even the score.

Despite Fresno Pacific's strong start, they were unable to regain the lead, and the game ended in a 2-2 draw. 

The Sunbirds head back home to for a matchup with the Cal State East Bay Pioneers at 3:30pm at Ramirez Field.
