GAME ONE

The teams traded point for point to open up the first period.

Each team scored four goals with the 'Birds goals coming off a pair of powerplays from Pietro Cattano and Jake Canalas, and two goals from Christian Clark and Christiano Sandino.

The back-and-forth continued into the second as both teams recorded another four goals knotting the score at 8-8 heading into the third.

In the second, Sandino and Cattano combined for all four goals in the second.

The Leopards jumped ahead in the third outscoring the Sunbirds three to one leading 11-9.

Fresno Pacific made a late push in the fourth but only manged to come within one as the Leopards closed out the game with lock-down defense winning 13-11.
