FRESNO, Calif. - In their first home PacWest match of the season, the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds fell to the Concordia University Irvine Golden Eagles 7-0. 

The Golden Eagles quickly took the set on court three. On court two, Daimy Paula and Halle Faherty battled but ultimately fell 6-3. Yum Ueoku and Audrey Ouellet were on serve on court one 6-5 when play was halted due to the clinch. 

In the singles, CUI secured straight set victories on courts six, five, three, and four to take the match.  

On court one, Ueko came out firing winning the first set 7-6, before her opponent battle back to take the second 6-3 and the third set tie breaker 10-6. 

Similarly on court two, Ouellett took the first 6-3 dropped the second 6-2 and lost the tie breaker in a back-and-forth dual 11-9. 

Fresno Pacific is back at the Haak Tennis Center at 10:00 a.m. Saturday with another PacWest matchup with the Stanislaus State Warriors.
