FRESNO, Calif. - It was complete 5-0 sweep for Fresno Pacific Sunbirds Saturday morning against the Jessup University Warriors at the Haak Tennis Complex.
The Sunbirds clinched the doubles point easily with a pair of 6-2 wins on court one by Nayuma Subba and Yume Ueoku and on court three by Halle Faherty and Margarita Munoz.
Audrey Ouellet and Elise Leik were up 4-3 on court two when the point was clinched.
The dominance continued for the Sunbirds in the singles starting with a 6-0, 6-0 win on court six by Malia Mitchell.
Subba followed it up with a win of her own 6-1, 6-0 on court one.
The next two points were secured quickly with wins on court four for Leik who beat her opponent 6-1, 6-0 and Faherty who won in similar fashion 6-1, 6-0.
Ouellet was up 6-1, 3-1 on court three and Ueoku 6-1, 4-1 when the match was clinched.
Up next, the Sunbirds will jump back in to PacWest play taking on the Dominican University Penguins in San Rafael on Friday.
