AZUSA, Calif.-Sanna Brull delivered a straight sets victory but the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds (0-2 overall) fell 6-1 to the Azusa Pacific Cougars (2-0 overall) Wednesday afternoon at the Munson and Bavougian Tennis Complex.

Fresno Pacific trailed after dropping the doubles point and quickly fell behind 4-0 with the first three finishes.

Brull ended up being the last match going after quickly taking the first set 6-1. She followed it up with a gritty 6-4 win to take the final point for Fresno Pacific.

After  a busy first week, Fresno Pacific will get some rest before its next match.

Fresno Pacific will now turn its sights onto a home conference match with Biola on Monday, February 13^th.
