FRESNO, Calif.-A pair of opponent goals in the first twenty minutes put the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds in an unrecoverable position during a 4-0 loss to the Biola Eagles Saturday evening at Ramirez Field.
Biola got a goal in the 16
th minute and doubled the lead less than three minutes later.
The Sunbirds trailed 2-0 at the half but Biola scored two more to put the match out of reach.
FPU managed just three shots on goal in the game as Biola held on to the 4-0 scoreline.
Fresno Pacific received challenging shots from
Taran Williams, Dennis Haeberle, and
Stephan Morris, but Biola kept the clean sheet.
FPU has the week off before taking to the road to battle Dominican on November 9
th. FPU will conclude the season with Senior Day on November 11
th at Ramirez Field.
