FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's and women's tennis teams hosted Azusa Pacific on Friday in Fresno, as the Cougars toppled the Sunbird men before the women saw their four-match conference win streak come to an end.

George Rodriguez said. "The men had chances to squeeze a couple matches and the women also had opportunities to win a few flights. We came up short this time but will be ready for our next opportunity."
WOMEN'S MATCH
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Maria Bordoii and Lea Falentin proved to be evenly matched with their opponent in #1 doubles, but their match went unfinished as the doubles point went to the Cougars.
- Falentin took the first set of #2 singles, but her opponent came back to take it 1-6, 7-5, 6-0.
- After falling in the first set, Sanne Brull was great for the Sunbirds, taking #5 singles 4-6, 6-1, 6-1.
