SURPRISE, Ariz. – The Fresno Pacific women's tennis team captured a 4-0 win against Colorado Mesa on Wednesday to open the PacWest Conference Tournament after dominating to win the doubles point, followed by a smooth singles session to get the sweep.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Alice Di Matteo and Sanne Brull were able to start the doubles session off with a 6-2 win, followed by a point-clinching 6-4 win from Maria Borodii and Lea Falentin.
- Di Matteo continued to cruise with a 6-0, 6-1 win to get the first singles point for the Sunbirds.
- Falentin followed with the third point, winning 6-3, 6-2, and Brull was able to seal the deal with a 6-0, 6-3 win in the No. 5 match.
UP NEXT
The Blue and Orange will face off against No. 4 seed Point Loma on Thursday at 12 p.m. PST. Point Loma was able to take down the Sunbirds 4-3 in the first matchup of the season, but FPU was able to get revenge, taking down the Lions 4-3 in the second match.
