FRESNO, Calif. – After six days off, the Fresno Pacific men's tennis team took on Bakersfield College and defeated the Renegades in a 7-0 sweep.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Sunbirds cruised through doubles, earning the point after Paco Wortelmann and Moritz Schmidt won the No. 3 match 6-1, followed by Ben Cronau and Joshua Wong winning the No. 1 match 6-1.
- Gregor Kliimask and Martin Ramirez also won the No. 2 match 6-1.
- Pablo Zubieta made it 2-0 FPU after winning in straight sets 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 6 match.
- He was followed by Kliimask, who also won in straight sets 6-3, 6-1 to make it 3-0 Sunbirds.
- Sven Bangert clinched the winning point after winning the No. 5 singles match 6-1, 6-0.
- Cronau followed with a 6-2, 6-4 win, and Wong won his No. 3 match 6-1, 6-3.
- Ramirez completed the sweep 6-2, 6-3, giving the Sunbirds the win without dropping a set in any doubles or singles match.
UP NEXT
The Blue and Orange will be off until Friday, April 8, when they host No. 12 Azusa Pacific. The match is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start time.
