FRENSO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's tennis team put together a strong win on Friday, knocking off PacWest Conference foe Holy Names 5-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Sunbirds were able to take the doubles point after Gregor Kliimask and Martin Ramirez won their No. 2 match 6-4, and Sven Bangert and Pablo Zubieta matched with a 6-4 win of their own in the No. 3 match.
- Kliimask was able to put the second point on the board with a 6-1, 7-5 win in his singles match.
- Ben Cronau put the Sunbirds up 3-0 in his No. 1 match, winning 6-3, 5-7, 6-3.
- Zubieta locked up the win in the No. 6 match, defeating his opponent 6-4, 6-4.
- Bangert was able to lock things up in his No. 5 match, winning a tight first set 7-6, followed by a 6-2 win in the second set to get the sweep.
UP NEXT
The Blue and Orange will be back in action on Monday when they host Colorado Mesa. Match time is set for 1 p.m.
