DENVER, Colo. – The Fresno Pacific men's tennis team closed out its time in Colorado on Saturday with a 5-2 loss at the hands to Metro State Denver.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roadrunners were able to take the doubles point after winning the No. 3 matchup 6-2 and the No. 2 match 7-5, despite Ben Cronau and Joshua Wong holding a 6-5 lead in the No. 1 match.
- MSU Denver added a second point in the No. 5 singles match, and then added two more to take the deciding point in the No. 4 match.
- They went ahead 5-0 with a win in the No. 6 match, but Wong was able to put a point on the board for the Sunbirds in the No. 3 match after a 6-4, 4-6, 10-3 win.
- Cronau added the second and final point for FPU in an exciting 7-5, 4-6, 11-9 tiebreak win in the No. 1 match.
UP NEXT
The Blue and Orange will return home next Saturday to take on Holy Names. The match is scheduled for 1 p.m.
