GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Fresno Pacific men's tennis team traveled to Colorado for back-to-back matches, starting with Colorado Mesa on Friday, falling 5-2 after winning the doubles point to start the match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Sunbirds were able to take the first doubles match when Pablo Zubieta and Gregor Kliimask won the No. 3 match 7-5.
- CMU was able to win the No. 2 match right after, but the Sunbirds were able to clinch the doubles point after Ben Bronau and Joshua Wong won their No. 1 match 6-4.
- CMU got on the board with a win in the No. 1 singles match and added two more points with wins in the No. 3 and No. 2 matches.
- Kliimask put up the second point for the Sunbirds with a 6-7, 7-6, 6-3 win in his No. 4 match.
- Mesa won the match with a win in the No. 6 matchup and then finalized the win with a win in the No. 5 matchup.
UP NEXT
The Blue and Orange will continue their Colorado road trip on Saturday with a matchup against Metro State Denver at 1 p.m. PST.
