Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

FPU Controls Concordia, Completes Season Sweep

IRVINE, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific University men's basketball team controlled Concordia on Wednesday night, as their defense led the way to a 66-51 win as the Sunbirds completed the season sweep of the Eagles.

QUOTABLE
"Just a gritty performance from us defensively tonight. We were tremendous from the jump, with A.J. Kirby leading the charge on that end. Darrin Person Jr. continues to show flashes of the dominant player we've always known he is. A good collective effort all around, but we are focused on this grueling stretch of games, with a juggernaut in Point Loma on Friday."– head coach C.J. Haydock

  • FPU held CUI to just 15 points in the first half.
