SAN DIEGO – The Fresno Pacific University men's basketball team tried to disrupt the offensive parous of Point Loma on Friday night, but the Sea Lions shot 51.9 percent from 3-point range on their way to an 85-70 win over the Sunbirds.
QUOTABLE
"A couple of bad stretches lead to big runs for Point Loma, where they get out in transition, and that's the difference in the game tonight. We get deep into our bench early with foul trouble, and I thought those guys gave us good minutes and effort. Not our best defensive effort, but there's a clear direction and focus for us to address and get better. That's an elite offensive team, and we will continue to work to be able to have the comprehensive defensive effort and execution it takes." – head coach
C.J. Haydock.
