FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific University women's basketball team hosted Point Loma on Thursday evening.
Felicia Dourva led everyone with 19 points, including 14 consecutive points in the second quarter, but a huge third quarter proved to be the difference for the Sea Lions as they took the game 71-50.
QUOTABLE
"We were out toughed both mentally and physically for most of the game. We had our chance to right the ship at half time and we came out even more mentally and physically disengaged. It'll be exciting to see how our team responds. It's my job to figure out a way to put our team in a better position to show up on game day. I must do better. It's a quick turnaround as we have another top team in our conference here on Saturday in Biola. We'll feed our team, love on them because they deserve it no matter if they win or lose, and tomorrow we will pursue a better version of our team in film, scout, and practice. Hopefully we're able to invest a bit more of ourselves into the process the next 24 hours and have a better product on Saturday.." – head coach
Tim Beauregard
