FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific tennis teams both came up short on Saturday against Point Loma, with the men falling 6-1, followed by the women going down 4-3.
QUOTABLE
"The ladies played a hard-fough match. We came close to beating a great team. I'm proud of the mental toughness the girls displayed today. It's a big step forward and confidence builder for us. The work they put in at practice and attention to the smallest details is and will pay off for them. The men's team needs to get better at mentally being ready for each position. We need to learn to adapt to the pace and consistency at this level. It begins at practice by doing the little things perfectly. There's a learning curve that needs to take place. They will get there." – head coach
