FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific University women's basketball team hosted Concordia inside the Special Events Center on Monday afternoon. The Eagles created separation early, but the Sunbirds were able to chip away at the lead before taking over late in the fourth quarter as they went on to win 70-67.
QUOTABLE
"We're just trying to be a little more connected every day. To get three games back-to-back-to-back makes for a tough week, but it also allowed us to find a rhythm and be connected. I was proud of our toughness today. I feel like we were on the same page, and I'm proud of our team and proud of the guts and toughness we showed." – head coach Tim Beauregard
