Another Relay Team Qualifies for Finals on Day Two, Championships On Deck

ALLENDALE, Mich. – Fresno Pacific saw four athletes compete on Day Two of the NCAA National Championships on Friday, with the women's 4x400 relay team qualifying for Saturday's final. The 4x100 relay team qualified on Thursday afternoon, giving the Sunbirds the opportunity to race in two championship events.

HOW IT HAPPENED: 
  • In her first appearance on the national stage while wearing the Blue and Orange, Mikaela Smith finished the 800 meter run in 2:21.81.  
  • The 4x400 relay team of Chloe Sharp, Smith, Madison Flores and Danae Manibog teamed up to run a time of 3:46.04 and finish fourth in the prelims.
