AZUSA, Calif. – The FPU track and field teams competed at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Friday and Saturday, Bryan Banuelos and Patrick Kiprop traded places as the program's career record holder in the 5K, while the women's 4x100m relay team ran the fastest time in school history. 
 
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE DAY:
 

• Banuelos (14:22) took a remarkable ten seconds off his lifetime best and broke the school record in the 5K, only to watch Kiprop (14:10) take back the record less than a half an hour later with a 13-second lifetime best of his own. Kiprop's time currently ranks him 15th in the nation. 
• Jordyn Zorn (17:23.18) had a lifetime PR in the 5K to move into second on FPU's all-time list, narrowly missing the program record in the process. 
• Mikaela Smith ran a 2:12.11 to win her heat in the 800m and move to second all-time. 
• The women's 4x100 team of Kyra Bailey, Kyla Richardson, Danae Manibog and Madison Flores turned in a school record time of 46.10, which is currently the 6th-best time in the nation this spring. 
• Bailey picked up a lifetime best in the 200m, moving into sixth all-time with a 24.78.
• All-Americans Manibog (55.25) and Flores (56.13) both turned in strong performances in the 400m, with Manibog's season-best ranking seventh in the nation and Flores sliding into fourth on FPU's career list. 
• Richardson ran a solid 11.82 in the 100m, finishing as the second college competitor in the event.
• Isaac Davis had a lifetime PR in the long jump of 7.14 meters to finish second in the college field, while teammate Bjoern Adden finished on his heels with a third-place distance of 7.06 meters.
• On Saturday, Chloe Sharp, Smith, Flores and Manibog finished the 4x400m relay with the best time of any college team at 3:44.12. The mark is the second best in program history.
• Roberto Lopez ran a lifetime best in the 1500m in 3:59.32.
