Sunbirds Dominate Penguins in Three, Move to 2-0 in League Action

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific volleyball team hosted Dominican on Saturday afternoon, picking up a 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-22) victory. The Sunbirds are now 2-0 and stand alone in first place in the PacWest Conference's NorCal Pod.

QUOTABLE:
  • "Our girls executed our game plan really well and picked up where we left on Thursday. We got a little error-ridden in the third set and had to pick right back up. Everyone did their jobs today, and I'm proud of the girls for locking in to defend home court. We knew in February that we wanted to be ready for PacWest play. The best teams play their best ball at the end of the season, and that continues to be our plan." – head coach Shasta Millhollin
