Winning Streak Snapped by Silverswords

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific women's soccer team had its three-game winning streak snapped on Saturday, as the Sunbirds fell to visiting Chaminade 1-0 at Ramirez Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Sunbirds surrendered a goal on a free kick from near midfield. Savannah Breeze Miranda netted the score for CUH at the 13:04 mark in the first half.
STATS FROM THE GAME
  • The Sunbirds out-shot the Silverswords 10-7 on the afternoon.
  • FPU's Tori De Leon recorded two shots on goal.
  • Birgitta Eggertsdottir amassed three saves in goal for the Sunbirds.
