Azusa, Calif. – Tori De Leon's first-half goal had the Fresno Pacific University women's soccer team tied with Azusa Pacific at halftime, but the Cougars pounced for three goals in the second half, taking the match 4-1 over the Sunbirds. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• (11:57) APU's Maddy Morrison scored her eighth goal of the season off an assist from Randi Macadangdang to put the Cougars up 1-0. 
• (24:56) De Leon Answered the Cougar goal with her sixth goal of the season. 
• (53:51) Bethany Lee scored off an assist from Morrison to put APU up 2-1.
• (61:57) Ella Romero supplied an insurance goal off a pass from Macadangdang. 
• (77:38) Katie Prado sealed the match for the Cougars with a goal that put them up 4-1. 

STATS FROM THE GAME

• De Leon sent two shots on goal, converting on one in the 25th minute. 
• Alexis Macias and Ana Paula Fraiz were the only other Sunbirds to send a shot toward the Cougar keeper with one each. 
• Birgitta Eggertsdottir made six saves in 90 minutes between the posts.
