Sunbirds Offense Erupts for 81-52 Victory over Otters

SAN FRANCISCO – Four players scored in double-figures for the Fresno Pacific University women's basketball team against CSU Monterey Bay on Saturday afternoon, as the Sunbirds erupted for an 81-52 victory over the Otters.

QUOTABLE
"Another great weekend of growth for us. I was proud of our team for making specific adjustments that allowed us to start the game the way we wanted. We did our best job of the year valuing the basketball and sharing it. With high assists and limited turnovers we know we can be in any game. Once again our defense was spectacular for stretches of the game proving once again that that is the most important part of our identity. We had big contributions from a lot of different people today.  Our bench has been fantastic this whole year and today they scored over half our teams point.  That group was led by Joleen. The spark she gave us off of the bench was phenomenal. 46 points from our freshman class is a cherry on the cake for a great weekend. We'll enjoy the wins and Monday refocus as we prepare for a very tough Stanislaus team on Wednesday." - head coach Tim Beauregard
