FRESNO, Calif. – In what proved to be a tough, physical match, the Fresno Pacific University men's soccer team battled Hawaii Pacific for 90 minutes on Tuesday night. A late goal from the Sharks proved to be enough to outlast the Sunbirds 1-0. 
  
  HOW IT HAPPENED

• (18:20) AntonioAngel Lepe fired a shot on goal but was turned away to keep the game tied at zero. 
• (42:38) Marley Edwards had a chance to give the Sunbirds the lead in the closing minutes of the first half, but his shot missed. 
• (74:04) The Sunbirds were playing a man down when Garrit Arzberger put the Sharks up 1-0 late in the second half.    

STATS FROM THE GAME

• The Sunbirds fired 16 shots with 12 coming in the first half. 
• Fellipe Souza led the charge with six shots, two of which came on goal in 65 minutes. 
• Matteo Swenson made three saves for the Sunbirds.
