FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's basketball team picked up a PacWest Conference victory on Saturday, defeating Notre Dame de Namur 76-69 at the Special Events Center. Junior
Aamondae Coleman turned in his second double-double of the week, while teammate
Adrian Antunez picked up the 1,000th point of his career.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Coleman gave the Sunbirds the first score of the night with a triple from the top of the key, one of six FPU threes in the first half.
- Notre Dame de Namur shot an impressive 59% from the floor in the first half, carrying a six-point edge into the locker room at the intermission.
- The Blue and Orange opened the second half on a 12-2 run that saw four different Sunbirds find the bottom of the net, including back-to-back threes from Coleman and Sean Nealon-Lino.
- From there, FPU settled into a rhythm, pushing the lead to as many as nine twice in the final nine minutes of the game.
STATS FROM THE GAME:
- Coleman rounded out his fourth double-double of the year with 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Antunez followed with 17 points and five boards.
- Nate Kendricks came off the bench to collect 10 points and three assists, and Nealon-Lino gave FPU a solid performance that consisted of nine points and seven rebounds.
- The Argos were able to win the turnover battle after committing just seven for the game and forcing FPU into 11.
- The Sunbirds dominated the glass, outrebounding their guests 38-22.
BEYOND THE BOX:
- Antunez is the second Sunbird in as many games to reach the Thousand Point Club. Coleman reached the milestone with his first bucket on Thursday, and Antunez got there with his final bucket on Saturday.
