SAN FRANCISCO – The Fresno Pacific men's basketball team was tripped up on Thursday night, falling 74-65 to Academy of Art in PacWest Conference action.
Aamondae Coleman went for a game-high 27 points and scored the 1,000th point of his career with his first bucket of the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first 14 minutes saw the two teams play each other even, but the Urban Knights ended the first half on a 12-3 run to take a 30-21 lead into the intermission.
- Adrian Antunez got the Sunbirds within six with a jumper in the early minutes out of the break, sparking a big second half for the Blue and Orange.
- FPU connected on 50% from the floor to play Academy of Art even for the final 20 minutes, but the 'Birds were unable to overcome the first half deficit.
STATS FROM THE GAME:
- Coleman rounded out his third double-double of the year with 11 boards, and Antunez connected on 6-of-10 from the floor to give the Sunbirds 14 points.
- Stefan Milivojevic led the way for Academy of Art with 24 points, while Josh Hill gave the Urban Knights 17 points and a game-high 14 boards.
- The Sunbirds committed just 11 turnovers for the game, but ARTU ended up with three less.
BEYOND THE BOX:
- Antunez is only 17 points shy of reaching the 1,000 point club.
- Coleman has scored a total of 67 points against Academy of Art this season, and he has averaged 17 points per game against them for his career.
