Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Sunbirds Go Cold Late in Loss to Sea Lions

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's basketball team was tripped up on Saturday night, falling 74-61 at the hands of Point Loma in PacWest Conference action.

QUOTABLE:
  • "I thought we were really good defensively tonight with the exception of a four-minute stretch in the second half. We competed, we executed several different schemes, and we disrupted the best offense in the league for stretches. We just couldn't string together enough makes on the other end to get over the hump, and once they found their rythym, we couldn't get the next disruption back. Sean Nealon-Lino was good again tonight, and it's encouraging to see his confidence grow. I think the areas we must grow in collectively are apparent to everybody in our program, and we will attempt to walk through those with consistency and faithfulness."– head coach C.J. Haydock
