FRESNO, CALIF. – Hoping to bounce back in their second game of their six-game homestand the Sunbirds hosted the Eagles of Concordia on Thursday, September 26
th in the Special Events Center.
 
INSIDE THE MATCH UPS: 
Final: Fresno Pacific 0, Concordia 3
Set Score: 14-25, 22-25, 18-25
Records: FPU (2-11), BU (8-4)   
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: 
- The Eagles opened up the match with a 13-7 lead over the Sunbirds. Concordia kept the pressure on Fresno Pacific and took the first set without difficulty.  
	- - In the second set the 'Birds came ready to play as they hung with the Eagles and trailed by two most of the set. Concordia however managed to keep the lead and take the second set as well.
- - It was a similar story in the third set as the Sunbirds remained close with the Eagles but were never able to take control of the set. 
STATS OF THE MATCH:
	- - Freshman Makena Ogas had a team high of 11 kills and was followed by Corinne Acosta with seven.
- - On the backline Sierra LeBeau and Acosta collected 11 digs a piece. 
- - The Birds totaled four solo blocks and another four assisted blocks in the three set match.
