FRESNO, CALIF. – The Sunbirds looking to open their six-game home stand on a positive note. That was not the case for Fresno as Biola came out ready to play and took all three sets from the 'Birds.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Biola opened up the match with a 10-5 lead over Fresno. The 'Birds would stay close with the Eagles but never close enough as Biola took the first set.
• The Eagles kept their momentum as they ran away with the second set.
• Biola did not let up there as they continued into the third set with the win.

 
 
STATS OF THE MATCH:

• Christina Tran led the Sunbirds in kills with six, she also added 15 assists and five digs. Two other Sunbirds, Makena Ogas and Miska Legatova added five kills each.
• The Sunbirds had a total of three aces in the match.
