Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Early Goal Not Enough as ‘Birds Fall to #10 CSULA

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's soccer team found the net for the first time this season on Saturday night but eventually were tripped up 2-1 against tenth-ranked Cal State LA.

QUOTABLE:
"Cal State LA is a well-rehearsed team that is likely going to be a playoff team again, but we are just too young and inexperienced right now. We had talked about how we wanted to score, and it ended up being one of the most beautiful goals we've scored in a long time," head coach Jaime Ramirez said. To make that hold up the rest of the way was a challenge for us, and we began to make simple mistakes. Our guys deserve credit for having a solid, physical first half, and that's a huge improvement for us, but there's still a lot we need to work on."
