ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific women's tennis team was tripped up on Sunday afternoon, falling 6-1 at the hands of Sonoma State. The match was originally started on March 10 in Rohnert Park, where the Seawolves took a 3-0 lead before weather forced a postponement and eventual relocation to Fresno.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Seawolves took all three doubles matches to earn the first point of the day.  Â
• Carolyn Brooner was up 5-0 on
Alice Di Matteo in the third singles flight before an injury gave Sonoma State a 2-0 lead.  Â
• SSU's Clarisa Colling took down
Ioanna Lathouri 6-4, 6-2 in the second flight before Jenna DeTurk won 6-4, 6-3 in the fourth for the clinching point.Â

Marina Lex and Jensyn Warren went three sets in the top flight before the latter pulled away with a 6-2 victory in the decider.

Gaya Solomon gave the Sunbirds their lone point of the match in #5 singles, defeating Carolina Alfonsin 6-4 in the third set.

Sanne Brull became the third FPU player to go three sets before ultimately falling 6-2 in the final set of the afternoon.Â
