HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Alice di Matteo and
Sanne Brull were the first doubles tandem to wrap up their match, doing so with a 6-0 victory.
• The duo of
Imane Van Veen and
Gaya Solomon followed suit, giving FPU a 2-0 edge in doubles action.
• In the top doubles slot,
Ioanna Lathouri and
Marina Lex defeated ACU's Kelley sisters 6-3 to lift FPU to its second doubles sweep of the year.
• Lex was the first to wrap up her singles match, defating Martina Velasco 6-0, 6-0.Â
• Lathouri then picked up a 6-0, 6-0 victory of her own, while Brull came away with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Gabby Gutierrez.

Claudia Iglesias and di Matteo wrapped up their matches with victories to give the Sunbirds their final points of the afternoon.
• In the top singles flight,
Gaya Solomon fell to Elizabeth Kelly by a final of 6-4, 6-4.
