About the Sunbirds (17-8, 13-6 PacWest)
Fresno Pacific is coming off a pair of wins last week after defeating Biola at home and cruising past Dominican on the road.
Cassie Pisik was selected as the PacWest Player of the Week after tallying double-doubles in both games, including a 13-point, 11-rebound performance in San Rafael on Saturday.
Bree Alvarez (15.5 PPG) and
Jessica Malazarte (15.4 PPG) rank eighth and ninth respectively on the PacWest leaderboard, making FPU one of just two teams (Dominican) with two individuals in the top ten.

About the Eagles (10-14, 9-10 PacWest)
Concordia appears to be headed for the sixth and final seed in the PacWest Tournament, and a win this week would do the trick. The Eagles will look to bounce back from a 76-53 home loss to Hawaii Pacific on Monday, however, as 18 Concordia turnovers helped make a difference in the outcome.
FPU came away with a 19-point victory in Fresno earlier this season, pushing the Sunbirds' all-time record in the series to 35-27.
Rachel Berry provided a spark of the bench for the Blue and Orange, knocking down five of her eight shots from the floor to lead the 'Birds in scoring. The Eagles committed 22 turnovers, and no Concordia player scored in double-figures.
About the Sea Lions (15-10, 14-5 PacWest)
Point Loma puts a nine-game win streak on the line this week and will host Hawaii Pacific before the Sunbirds arrive on Saturday. In a defensive battle with Chaminade last weekend, Melanie Quijano came off the bench to lead the Sea Lions in scoring, while Grace Brady racked up five blocks and a team-high nine boards.
The Sunbirds held on for a 77-74 victory over PLNU back in December, but the Sea Lions still lead the series by a margin of 43-34.
Ashley Cross came away with a steal in the waning moments for FPU, drawing contact on her way to the bucket to sink the clinching free throws.
