LA MIRADA, CALIF.  – Fresno Pacific hit the road to take on the Eagles of Biola on Friday, November 8^th. The last time the two squared off was in Fresno, Calif the Eagles picked up the win over the Sunbirds in three sets and it was similar result in La Mirada.  
 
INSIDE THE MATCH UPS:
Final: Fresno Pacific 0, Biola 3
Set Score: 20-25, 17-25, 14-25
Records: FPU (4-22), BU (13-10)   
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Eagles got off to quick start in the first set as the jumped out to 15-10 lead. Miska Legatova and Makena Ogas recorded back-to-back kills to get the 'Birds within three-points of the Eagles. BU however took the first set 25-20.

• - Set number two started out pretty similar as the Eagles went up 9-3 on the 'Birds. FPU managed to string together back-to-back points while BU had match point, but the Eagles would take the second set as well.
• - BU got off to a similar start in the third and final set taking a 8-1 lead and never looking back from there.

 
STATS OF THE MATCH:

• - Jaalyn Sotoa-Stuebing and Makena Ogas each totaled seven kills apiece. While Miska Legatova and Corinne Acosta closely behind them with five each.
• - Christina Tran had a game high of 17 assists despite the loss.
