FRESNO, CALIF.  – The Sunbirds hosted the Argonauts of Notre Dame de Namur on Saturday, November 16^th in their final home game of the season. FPU recognized their three seniors: Christina Tran, Sierra LeBeau, and Sydney Rigby before the match.
 
INSIDE THE MATCH UPS:
Final: Fresno Pacific 3, Notre Dame de Namur 0
Set Score: 26-24, 25-22, 25-19
Records: FPU (6-23), NDNU (3-23)   
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The 'Birds and 'Argos went back-and-forth in the opening set of the match as they traded turns leading. A kill by Miska Legatova pushed FPU to 25 and then took the opening set on a NDNU ball handling error.    
• FPU opened up the second set with a four-point lead and would maintain their lead throughout the set. Corinne Acosta sealed game two away with a kill for the 'Birds.
• Set number three was a little shaky for the 'Birds as they were point for point with the 'Argos until a timely kill by Jaalyn Sotoa-Stuebing. FPU scored their 25^th point off of a kill by Anastassiya Barakkhoyeva.

 
STATS OF THE MATCH:

• Miska Legatova totaled a team high of 10 kills while Makena Ogas contributed nine and Christina Tran added eight.
• Tran also had 23 assists and 12 digs for the Sunbirds.  
• As a team Fresno had four aces, two of which were by Janae Bibby.
