• Each set was tight throughout, but the Sunbirds couldn't put together a full frame to fall in three.Â
• FPU led 11-7 in the second set before CUI ran off six straight points to jump ahead of the Sunbirds and not look back.Â
• The 'Birds were held under .150 hitting in each set while committing 26 errors as a team.

Carley Bock led the Sunbirds with 11 kills, while
Christina Tran added seven kills, two aces and eight digs.
Greta Dobenecker facilitated the offense with 27 assists while also picking up 12 digs and
Chantel Montayre scooped up a team-best 14 digs.
