FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific volleyball team had its hot streak snapped on Friday, as the Sunbirds fell to visiting Biola 3-1 at the Special Events Center.
 
INSIDE THE MATCHUP:

Set Scores: 25-16, 22-25, 25-18, 25-17
Records: BU (11-5, 7-2 PacWest), FPU (4-12, 3-4 PacWest),
All-Time Series: FPU leads 46-28
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• After dropping the opening set, FPU answered back in the second frame. 
Carley Bock put down six kills in the set as the Sunbirds came back from an 8-1 deficit to win 25-22. 
• The third set was tight early before Biola came alive on offense. The Eagles then hit .448 in the fourth to earn the road victory.
 
STATS OF THE MATCH:
• Bock led the Sunbirds with 11 kills and added eight digs, while 
Caroline Bodziak amassed 10 kills and 
Christina Tran totaled 14 assists, eight kills, five digs and two blocks.
• 
Sierra LeBeau led the FPU defense with 19 digs.
• BU hit .266 on the night. Sabrina Winslow led the Eagles with 15 kills.
 
BEYOND THE BOX:
• The season series ended on Friday with Biola claiming both victories.
