SAN DIEGO – The Fresno Pacific women's soccer team was saddled with its' second consecutive loss on Saturday afternoon, falling 5-0 to Point Loma in PacWest Conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Point Loma was clicking on all cylinders from the first whistle, scoring three goals in the game's first ten minutes.
• FPU was limited to just one shot in the first half, their lowest total of any period this season.
• The Sea Lions never allowed the Sunbirds to get in a rhythm, adding two more scores before the final horn.
SCORING:
• (2:01) Abby Teagle passed across the box to Julia Glaser for an open shot to give the Sea Lions the early lead.

(9:36) Abbi Swanson lined up for the corner kick, bending the ball into the net untouched for her first goal of the year.

(9:51) Teagle and Glaser teamed up again, with Teagle finding Glaser open on the left side of the box. Glaser fired to the top left corner to push the Sea Lion lead to 3-0.

(61:29) Bella Diaz passed to an open Ashlee Smith in the middle of the box for the score.
• (76:14) Glaser found Abigail Nobiensky on the left side of the box for a shot to the right side of the net.
STATS FROM THE GAME:
• PLNU outshot their guests 20-5, including a 10-1 mark in shots on target.

Peyton Shaffer and
Alex Benevidez combined for five saves between the posts, while Mikaela Montoya came off the bench to provide Point Loma's lone save.
• The Sea Lions took all four of the game's corner kicks.
BEYOND THE BOX:
• Point Loma has delivered a clean sheet in each of their last five games, matching their longest win streak since the 2016 season.
• After being shutout just once last season, the Sunbirds have been held scoreless three times this season.
