OAKLAND, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific baseball team dropped both ends of a season-ending doubleheader on Thursday, falling 5-1 against Holy Names in the opener before dropping the finale 7-5.

GAME 1:
• Holy Names began the scoring in the third inning, when Jahshua Jones lifted a two-run shot over the wall in left.
• With two outs and the bases empty in the fifth,
Nate Case broke up a no-hit bid with his third home run of the season.
• Hawk centerfielder Colton Combs got in on the long ball action in the bottom half, giving the home nine a 4-1 lead.
• Garrett Ferreira added an insurance run in the home sixth, singling through the left side to plate William Ruiz from third.

Nic Boatman gave the Sunbirds seven innings on the mound and matched his career-high with nine strikeouts.
• PacWest strikeout leader Aiden McIntyre picked up the win after racking up 10 strikeouts for the fifth time this season.
GAME 2:
• A fielder's choice and a Holy Names error allowed the Sunbirds to get on the scoreboard in the fourth inning.

Braden Frankfort each added a single before the inning came to a close, giving Fresno Pacific a 5-0 lead at the halfway point.
• The Hawks answered with their biggest inning of the series, plating six runs on six base hits to go in front 6-5.
• Chris Gann homered to begin the sixth, bringing home the final run of the season.
