FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific women's soccer team looks to snap a three-game losing skid on Thursday evening, when the Sunbirds head north for a PacWest Conference game against Holy Names.

About the Sunbirds (1-6-1, 1-2-0 PacWest)
FPU lost its' lone game last week, falling 3-2 after a slow 86th-minute goal trickled in to give Dominican the game-winner. Mackenzie Reynolds and Anissia Gonzalez provided the offense for the Blue and Orange, with the latter becoming the fifth Sunbird to find the back of the net this season.

About the Hawks (2-5-0, 0-1-0 PacWest)
Behind an overtime game-winner from Abbi Alexander, HNU was able to snap a five-game losing streak against Cal State East Bay last Saturday. Goalkeeper Nyah Summers is tied for the league lead in saves, but her 8.2 saves per game are good enough for the highest individual mark.

FPU has never lost to Holy Names, claiming a record of 11-0-1 in the all-time series. With Rob Podeyn as the Sunbirds' head coach, the Blue and Orange have outscored the Hawks 11-2. Last season, Whitney Snow scored a pair of goals in a 4-1 victory as the Sunbirds outshot HNU 25-4.
