BELMONT, Calif. – Carley Bock's 21 kills powered Fresno Pacific over Notre Dame de Namur, 3-1, on Saturday in PacWest play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Sunbirds rolled in the opening set and used a 4-0 run with the score 16-16 to take control.
• FPU carried the momentum into the second frame and jumped out to a 8-3 lead. The Sunbirds lead 21-11 at one point during the set.
• After dropping the third, the Sunbirds found themselves in a 16-10 hole in the fourth. FPU then rode the right arm of Bock and used a 15-7 run to escape Belmont with a 3-1 win.
 
STATS OF THE MATCH:
• Bock's 21 kills came on .341 hitting. She added 14 digs and three aces for the Sunbirds.
• Madison Pierce amassed 10 kills for the 'Birds, while Greta Dobenecker dished out 49 assists. Sierra LeBeau totaled 17 digs and Dobenecker finished with 11 digs.
• The Sunbirds hit .227 as a team and held NDNU to .193 hitting.
