BELMONT, Calif. – Fresno Pacific had its two-game winning streak snapped on Saturday at the hands of Notre Dame de Namur, 3-1, in PacWest action. Set scores were 25-21, 25-16, 22-25 and 25-21 in favor of the Argonauts.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Sunbirds found themselves down 2-0 in the match after NDNU came out firing offensively.
• FPU then hit .389 in the third set to earn a 25-22 victory to cut the deficit to 2-1.
• Set four was tight throughout as each team rallied to a score of 20 apiece. The Argonauts eliminated any thoughts of a Sunbird comeback, however, and used a 5-1 run to end the game.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• The Sunbirds had three players finish with double-digit kills, led by
Malerie Crenshaw's 14 (.375).
Gabriela Macedo added 13 kills on .333 hitting and
Kylei Dewar chipped in with 10 kills on .318 hitting.
• Macedo led the defense with 16 digs to amass a double-double, while
Tiff Wong scooped up 15 digs.

Greta Dobenecker facilitated the offense with 28 assists and
Christina Tran added 21.
• Bianca Alvarez led NDNU with 28 kills on .391 hitting.

• The Sunbirds had a winning streak of two snapped by the Argonauts.
• Macedo has totaled double-doubles in her last two outings and now has three on the year.
• FPU played well offensively and totaled its second highest hitting percentage of the year.
