Sunbirds to Battle Eagles in Key PacWest Showdown

FRESNO, Calif. - After starting league play with two wins, the Fresno Pacific women's soccer team will look to continue the momentum on Saturday, taking on the Concordia Eagles in the first conference road game of the year.

Quotable
"It is exciting to have a strong start to our conference season and to see the team playing well. In the PacWest, every team is capable beating anyone on any given day. Concordia is off to a very good start and has played a challenging schedule. They are athletic and attack-minded and will be a tough matchup for us. We expect them to be well-organized and to come at hard, especially since we were able to win at their place last year. Our conference schedule continues to get tougher each year as teams improve and play smarter. This game will challenge us, and I look forward to seeing how we respond." – head coach Rob Podeyn
